Reaction sintered silicon carbide has high strength, high hardness, high wear resistance, corrosion resistance and good oxidation resistance, thermal shock resistance and other properties. Compared with recrystallized silicon carbide and silicon nitride bonded silicon carbide, reaction sintered silicon carbide has better long-term properties. The bending strength of reaction sintered sic is more than twice that of recrystallized sic and about 50% higher than that of sic bonded nitride.
The products are widely used in various industrial furnaces, desulfurization equipment, large boilers and other mechanical equipment as well as ceramics, machinery, metallurgy, electronics, chemical industry, iron and steel industry and other fields.
